Intro: Today we are going to be choosing classes for the second semester! It is important that we look at what classes you already took (and passed) as well as what classes you need the most credit for in order to pass.
Whole Group: Let’s look at how many credits you need for graduation for each subject. This will help us understand our choices for classes.
Independent: Look through the 9th/10th Grade Course Selection Options that you have for courses and highlight what you would like to take based on the discussion we had above. One-on-One Conferencing: I will go around to each student and show you how to find your credits on Skyward. We will then discuss your choices and verify that your classes meet your needs. Once we agree, we will fill out the course selection form. Ticket Out: What is one class you are most excited about for next semester? |
