That is what can be found on the back cover if any of your readers decides to check the book out. Instead you will discuss your opinion of the book, in writing, using information from the book as support.

Psychoanalysis | Psychoanalysis is the method of investigating the mind and its unconscious. It emphasizes how infancy, and early experiences with sexuality, can affect a person’s worldview as an adult. The power and interpretation of dreams, slips of the tongue, and other seemingly “irrational” and/or insignificant modes are keys to understanding unconscious desires and how desire functions. Procedure | In your group, discuss your assigned Freudian concept. Consider the definition below. If you are confused, do some quick research in order to find more information or examples of the Fruedian concept. Then find two examples from the main text or footnotes that demonstrate the Freudian Concept. We will share out and borrow one another findings to complete the chart. Be sure to record page numbers so we can easily access the examples in the novel. Share Out + Borrow Learning Reading Do Now | Open Google Sites

The Argentina ProjectThe Argentina Project is an advanced Humanities course in which students study Kiss of the Spider Woman by Manuel Puig, a 1976 novel about two prisoners who share a cell just prior to the start of Argentina's military dictatorship and Dirty War. In this time of censorship and loss of individual rights, a dogmatic revolutionary and a gay window dresser bond over memories of loved ones and the movies. Students study the history, government, politics, and lasting effects of Argentina's military dictatorship and Dirty War. Students also consider cultural and artistic repercussions through the lens of human rights. Categories
