Invertebrate collecting with the kindergartners at Etude Elementary School
NEXT FIELD TRIP: On Wednesday, Oct 5, we are going to be going back to Pigeon River Elementary school to help kindergartners collect and identify 'bugs.' How can we use this experience to help us with our project. What is our Project?
Driving Question: How healthy and balanced is the environment around the Pigeon River near Etude Elementary School? Our overall project on the Pigeon River is to learn about the health of the Pigeon River area between the quarry and the railroad bridge where we sampled. WHY? The elementary students have already created maps of some trails to help people find their way in the woods. Groups choose the most important questions that will help us with our Pigeon River Project question above: How healthy and balanced is the environment around the Pigeon River near Etude Elementary School? - What questions can we research now to help us in the field on Wednesday? - How should we organize all of the information you find so our whole group can use it? - What information should we record from your research? Do Now:
