TODAY'S YOGA PRACTICE: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 20, 2022 Conscientious breathing and awareness slow yoga practice for calming the nervous system. Just noticing is the goal today. Write down anything you notice or think of you would like to write down. I wonder what is really happening physically in the nervous system when we intentionally breathe. Is it just in our head or does something happen in our nerves and brain? Exit Ticket: Verbally tell us one thing you noticed from the practice today Do Now: Please grab a handout sheet for today and put your name on it.
Learning Goal: Engage with a phenomenon that links to the nervous system. Listen carefully to peer thinking and ask questions. Lesson:
Bring your thinking sheet and form groups of three.
Do Now: What human interactions stick with you? Think of one positive and one negative thing that has been said or done to you. Use only any examples that you are willing to share in a circle up.
Expectations on your yoga investigations - check in Your investigation write-ups will be due next Friday, April 22. We will take a little time for everyone to present their final investigation conclusions: Important background info, results and analysis, discussion.

The point of today's yoga session is to run Lili and Grace's experiment testing if being on devices during yoga has an effect on the stress reduction of yoga practice. Human Anatomy and Physiology employs a systems analysis approach to the structure and function of the human body. This laboratory science course will analyze relationships between body systems and study physiology from the cellular to the systemic level. This course is recommended for those pursuing a career in or related to the health science field and has a substantial laboratory component.
